skerwink trail

Lucky for me, the Skerwink Trail–voted the 3rd best coastal trail in Canada–is right outside my door. It’s located in historic Trinity, one of the first places to be settled in Newfoundland. If I were here a few months ago I would have seen icebergs and whales. Today I saw a variety of sea birds, sea stacks, and quartz. Found a little bit of home on the trail as two of the sea stacks resembled my home, the Michigan Mitten.
